Send report file via email

You should setup the email account that is used to send email.

1. From "Settings" menu, select the "email account setup" option, the "Email Account Setting" dialog will
appear. Please input the information given to you by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or administrator.

• Email Address : This item is not important for Rep2excel Server.
• SMTP Server : Rep2excel will send mails through this server, the default port is 25.
• If you don't know the location of your smtp server, please refer to your ISP or network administrator.
• "My outgoing server requires authentication" Check Box : The box should be checked if your server requires authentication. If the box is checked , you should input the user name and password.
• User Name :
• Password :

Tip: Unless your ISP have indicated that your service uses Secure Password Authentication, do not select the "my outgoing server requires authentication" check box.

If you just want to send mails to users of the same smtp server, the server always does not require authentication.

3. Click Save .

Now, please follow the steps to send email through RepExpert.

Step 1: Open a file .

Step 2: Select "Send to" from the "File" menu, The "message" dialog will appear.

Step 3: Please enter the email address of the recipients and other information, then click "Send" , the message will be send to specified recipients.
